Hi and welcome to The Millennial State of Happiness (TMSH)!

For those checking out this ‘about’ section, if you are anything like me, you are probably wondering one of two things, possibly both:

‘Who is behind TMSH’

‘what’s the reason behind TMSH in the first place?’

Well, before I share a bit about myself I want to skip ahead to answer the second question.

The Millennial State of (Mind = Happiness)

Millennials, we are everywhere, whether some people like to admit it or not. Not only that, we are living in interesting times. A dynamic life with high demands pushing and pulling from all sides. How do we as millennials navigate through this? AND more importantly, how do we achieve happiness in this day and age? These are just some of the questions that prompted me to start TMSH in the hopes of helping others like myself. I figured I cannot be the only one with these questions. Maybe, along the way, some of the insights we stumble upon might actually help others understand the complexities of the millennial state of mind and our pursuit of happiness. Check out ‘What is Millennial Happiness‘ for a more in-depth look.

Behind the blog

Mariah Blankendal
Hi there and welcome to TMSH :)!

Now, if you are still hanging in here or just skipped ahead to this part, I would be delighted to share a bit about myself as well. My name is Mariah and in my free time when I am not writing I keep myself busy as a freelance photographer/graphic designer. My passions are traveling, photography, graphic design, creative writing, sports, and helping others. I have launched TMSH in the hopes of reaching out to many individuals and maybe even helping them on their pursuit of happiness by sharing some of my thoughts and experiences.

Nowadays, time is our most valuable currency, so I want to thank you for spending some of yours here :)!

Cheers Mariah
